Body Boundaries is a dynamic group exhibition curated by artist and educator T.J. Dedeaux-Norris. Featuring Midwest artists who are either current or former MFA students or faculty in Iowa, the show explores the ways we think about, confront, and abstract the body through diverse artistic practices.
The works in Body Boundaries engage with themes like identity, presence, and the body’s relationship to space, culture, and power. Whether through figuration, abstraction, or something in between, the artists offer glimpses, excerpts, and confrontations of the human form—what it stands for, what it resists, and how it’s imagined.
